A Late Autumn Session

I took these portraits of Augie and Aida on a brisk autumn day in October.  I chose to feature these portraits, Aida with their new pup and Augie alone, because I love the beautiful and very typical expressions of both girls.

I have photographed them since Aida was a toddler, so seeing them grow into such extraordinary young women is very heartwarming.  I've attached a print from our first outdoor session in 2006 (I think!).

Ashlee & Richard

Ashlee and Rich are getting married next fall in Pennsylvania.  They've recently moved to Vermont and wanted a portrait with the fall foliage for their family and friends.  With all the recent rain and wind, we worried about finding any, but Saturday was gorgeous, right before another rainy day!

Kaylee - SBHS 2011

I had an amazing afternoon photographing Kaylee!  She loves the Fall, as I do and it was perfect light, perfect temperature, all good!  Kaylee is a natural, photogenic from every angle and was having fun just hanging out.  Check out her video clip below.

Golden Days

Wow.  Nothing says 'end of summer' like the beautiful golden grasses we see around us at this time of year.

I photographed the Senesac family recently in one of my favorite spots because I thought their pastel colors would look great in that setting.  I've known them for a while and the kids are growing up!  Abby's away at college, Ian's about to graduate from high school and Colin is growing like a weed.

I was happy to be able to capture the family, all together as a unit, before ever more changes occur, as they always do, eventually.  Thanks, Becky and Chris!

Katie ~ CVU 2011

Katie was great in our studio session AND she's studying photography so we had a lot to talk about.  She's a very relaxed and natural subject with striking looks and a winning smile.  We had a great time.  Check out her video clip!

Nicole ~ SBHS 2011

Another beautiful day in Vermont!  Nicole's portraits were shot at the lake where she's spent so much time over the years.  High school will be over before you know it and she and her family will have wonderful, golden memories of this summer.
